Lounges & Dining Areas

You will be spoilt for choice at Manton Hall, with our various lounges and sitting areas, where you can relax in style. Our plush, restful and stylishly arranged main lounge opens to the sensory garden beyond. The intricate fireplace, fish tank and display of lovely pictures and flower arrangements add to the inviting and homely feel. A large flat screen television, DVD player and daily newspapers provide recreation and entertainment, whilst the sensory baskets arranged around the room inspire memory function and stimulation for residents with dementia.

Get Comfortable

Enjoy the sunshine and great outdoors, whilst staying warm in winter and air conditioned in summer, in the bright and breezy conservatory, otherwise known as the quiet lounge. Built almost entirely of glass and overlooking the lush green lawn outside, you can retire with a good book in peace, or just rest and enjoy your surroundings.

Our well-appointed dining areas are smartly arranged in restaurant style, so you can choose to dine with family or friends, or alone if you prefer. Your relatives are welcome to join you for meal times.

Why not indulge yourself with a sherry or glass of wine before lunch or supper? Our warm and welcoming bar is the perfect place to chat with friends. Designed with traditional charm, complete with dark wood panelling, an ornate fireplace and stained glass windows, you can easily forget you’re not in an old English inn. Unwind with a pack of cards or a board game and treat your guests to a cold beverage, served twenty four hours a day.

The staff have been unfailingly kind

My husband has been a resident at Manton Hall for nearly 4 years suffering from dementia. The staff have been unfailingly kind both to him and also to myself and I have always felt supported through these difficult years as he does not know myself or our family. K B (Wife of Resident)
